Who is this Fashionista?
I'm just a regular girl with an extraordinary passion for fashion and fitness. I love to shop until I drop, and pride myself in finding the most amazing deals (Yes, I am a bargain shopper).My favorite question is when someone asks, "I love your shirt!", or "I love your shoes!", etc... My response, "I got it for $7 at Ross."
I started out with dressing my baby dolls, then it progressed to dressing up my wiener dog in my baby dolls' clothes, next I moved on to Barbies, and then finally, Myself and others! Nothing feels better than the confidence that fashion provides. I love it when I get dressed and go out just knowing and feeling like I'm 'lookin' good!' And this is a perfect transition into my next topic... fitness.
You have to admit that dressing a fit body is easier than dressing a body that's not fit. I'm not trying to be superficial, but I am a HUGE advocate of promoting a healthy lifestyle, plus I'm addicted to endorphins. To me, there's nothing better than hitting the gym up after a long day at work. It's the perfect, and most healthy way to release the stress of the day. What works best for me is fitness classes. This way, I don't even have to think about what I'm doing, I just follow the teacher in the front of the class- it's SO EASY and FUN! You can burn hundreds of calories without using a single thought process.
Finally, the best way to make exercising easy, is to eat right. Fresh produce is definitely the best way to go, and our bodies feel so much more alive with non-processed foods, because our organs don't have to work that hard to break them down. There's nothing worse than feeling stressed, tired and lackadaisical, simply not having enough energy to live the life that God gave you to its fullest. Start paying attention to what you're putting into your body, because you are what you eat! =)
