"Cain't" is a mixture of can't and ain't, basically a double negative, I guess...
It dropped 20+ degrees in between when I walked into the gym this evening and when I walked out... Ummm, can we say culture shock? Cold sweat + cold air + 40mph winds = Miserable! I need some Hot Chocolate ASAP as I sit here in sweats, a hoodie and my Ugg slippers.
Back to the reason that I'm unable to move... Ever heard of Nike Training?

The story- There's really no classes on Tuesday nights that I enjoy, so typically, I take Tuesday off from the gym. I'm a gym class rat, and working out on my own is completely boring to me. I've been spoiled for SO long by classes. There's nothing easier than having someone tell you what to do for an hour and leaving completely soaked and high on endorphins! :) I've been at this class thing for a REALLY long time! Like since Tae Bo. Remember good ol' Billy Blanks? haha! So yeah, I went to Nike Training. It was the HARDEST workout ever, with one of the worst teachers ever (sounding strange right?), and if I ever attend this guy's class again, I will stand in the back (I'm typically a front row girl).
And Tony was his Name-O! (the Nike Training instructor). First off, one of his thighs were as big as my whole body. He was wearing tights, kinda like these:
Moral of the story- Tony is the reason that many people give up on classes, the gym etc. Everyone's styles are different, and it's nice that 24 Hour Fitness provides options. This could have been a great experience for me if the instructor showed respect for the people in the class, and pushed us to do better, instead of pointing out what you "should be doing." I do have to say, that there were about 15 guys in that class, and typically guys don't attend too many classes, so from that perspective, that's working for him. But, a combined 20 minutes of burpees, is complete insanity. A combined 20 minutes of squats is added insanity. And Tony is completely insane. So I guess, the moral of the story? I love to hate him, because my body hurts good? Next time I will stand in the back, and if he still tries to tell me what to do, I will let him know what I think, once again. ;)
If you don't belong to a gym, download the Nike Training Club app! It's really awesome! First, you select your goal: Get Lean, Get Tones, Get Strong etc. Next, select your level: Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. Then, you choose your workout: Sweat + Shape, Slim Chance, Fighter Fit etc. It tells you how long to do each drill within the selected workout. If you don't know how to do the drill, you can see pictures and even videos. It's AMAZING and makes working out Simple. You can also sync your playlists to it, and have an audio guide take you through your workout with your own music.
Now that's Fancy!
Have you used the Nike Training Camp app?
I'm downloading it now :)
