This is week 11 for Baby B.Flo. Every week we pray for the specific developments of our child, and here's what they are this week:
By this week, your 11 week fetus is about the size of 50 millimeters and weighs up to 8 grams. Your little one will gain a substantial amount of weight this week.
Your baby starts to explore its body. The baby focuses more carefully on touching the head, particularly the face and mouth. Particularly the mouth of your baby gives it hours of entertainment. All this happens because your baby gains coordination so that he/she is able to move the hands on command. The baby’s palms also gain sensation and they can feel whatever it touches.
The swallow reflex of your baby begins to develop by this week and with it the baby hiccups appear. Although you are not able to feel the baby’s activity quite yet, the baby is increasingly moving as the bones are becoming harder and the muscle mass of the fetus is increasingly developing.
By the end of
week 11 of pregnancy, your baby’s smell and various other olfactory senses start to develop. When these senses are combined with the maturing taste buds, they give your baby its first experience of taste and smell.
The primitive tail is now gone and most of the baby’s organs start to work and external factors like appearance of hair, toenails and fingernails will develop. Your baby’s reproductive organs start to develop rapidly.
Your baby is able to open and close the fists and it can be observed with 11 weeks pregnant ultrasound. Also there is beginning of little buds which will pop out as teeth some day.

I also received a baby sling this week. I had a coupon that made the sling free and all I had to pay for was the shipping. Unfortunately, people don't send me free stuff to "try out," BUT if you know how I can get free stuff- let me know! :)
I decided to test the sling to make sure that it was indeed "safe." My carefully selected models victims were not willing participants in the safety challenge.
I've literally laughed for hours over this pics- I hope you find them entertaining!
Last but not least, I will leave you with this very dangerous recipe that I found on Pinterest---
Oatmeal Chocolate Peanut Butter No-Bake Candy Bars
*it is sorta like a chocolate oatmeal no bake cookie, but extra creamy and special. it almost reminds me of fudge, but with the added texture of the oats and occasional chewy sweetness of the dried cranberries--yum!
1 cup peanut butter
2/3 cup agave nectar
1/2 cup coconut oil
(no substitutes, this is what gives its creamy texture and flavor)
2 cups oats
1 1/4 cups mini chocolate chips
3/4 cup dried cranberries
In a medium sized saucepan, melt together peanut butter, honey and coconut oil.
Remove from heat and add oats, chocolate chips and dried cranberries. Stir until combined and chocolate chips are melted.
Spread into a 9x13 pan. Refrigerate until hardened, about an hour. Store in refrigerator.
The recipe calls for honey, which I subbed with agave nectar. I also used Ghirardelli 60% Cacao bittersweet chips instead of mini chocolate chips. Watch out bc this is freaking ADDICTIVE!!!!
Have a wonderful day Friends!
