19 Weeks + My Cute Outfit

This week I had a large mango inside of me :) We had Baby Girl's 20wk (technically 19.5wk) appt. All of the measurements were perfect. She was trying to grab her little feet during the sonogram, and was kicking my bladder- although I couldn't feel it.

At 19 wks, I don't really feel like I have cravings. However, I did eat nearly an entire batch of Pamela's gluten-free brownies topped with So Delicious Coconut, gluten-free cookie dough ice cream... I'm pretty sure this caused my rear to increase in size. Gotta get that back under control! I see lots of butt lifts in my future!!!

Find of the week-

Color-Blocking Top
$16.97 @Nordstrom Rack
My director chose to have a business dinner directly next to Nordstrom Rack this week- Brilliant Decision!  So what did I do? Stopped by before dinner of course! I got a text from my coworker "Where are you?" My response "Umm Shopping at Rack, duh!" These people act like they don't know me... So this top was one of my finds and I'm totally in love with it as I'm obviously obsessed with PiNK and LOVE bright colors. I wore it this to work the next day ;)

18 Weeks ~ Baby Went Snorkeling

I turned 18 weeks over a week ago while we were in Puerto Rico and little Baby BFlo got to go snorkeling for her first time ;)

My favorite part of the trip (besides the wedding) was our catamaran/snorkel tour to Culebra. It was the best snorkeling that I've ever done in my life, and I got to hang out on one of the Top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world! Flamenco Beach.

More of Puerto Rico to come...

17 Weeks

I need to play catch-up on all of the weeks I've missed, since this week is technically 19wks. It's been really crazy in this place lately. First the gender reveal party, then Easter, then Puerto Rico, then BFlo's sales kick-off, my quarterly business review... It never ends ;)

Our Gender Reveal Party:

The Reveal...

It's a GiRL!!!

I'm taking name suggestions, however am pretty sure that I'm naming our baby girl Luciana. The girls in my family do not have middle names, so I'm carrying on the tradition (her maiden name will eventually become her middle name). I fell in love with Luciana one because it's like 2 names in one- Luci + Ana. Two- since my husband's name is 100% a white person name, even though he's Hispanic, I feel like our baby needs to carry on some of the family's culture and heritage, so I really want a Latin name. If we were to have a boy, his name would be Cruz Alexander, so I want to keep the culture in the name. BFlo isn't sold on Luciana, that's why I'm taking suggestions, even though I'm fairly confident that Luciana is the best name so far ;)

Let me know of any good Latin baby girl names that you come up with!

16 Weeks

Lesson of the week: Pregnancy Amnesia is REAL!

On my way to the gym

Baby is the size of an Avocado

Pregnancy Amnesia further defined: I completely and totally forgot that we're going to Puerto Rico for my best friend's wedding next week... This trip has only been planned for at least 7 months! I'm driving myself insane!!!

In my defense, it was a crazy week to say the least! Not sure if you heard, but the Dallas area had 13 tornadoes last Tuesday. I lived 21 years of my life in Kansas and since I've lived in Dallas, I've been through more tornadoes here in 8 years than the 21 in KC. I dropped my customer off- whom said "looks like the weather's going to get bad," and started driving to go sign our taxes. I look down and have 2 texts, one from my friend in Puerto Rico and another one from my friend in Kansas asking if I was ok because they heard there were 2 tornadoes that just hit Dallas. WHAT?????????????????????

I turned on the radio and sure enough, there's more coming right at me! Next, pea size hail. So I pull into a gas station and seek refuge under the overhang. I eventually run inside where they announce that they're locking the doors in 30 seconds, so whoever wants in needed to come now. Then, they heard us to the cooler in the gas station as it's the safest place to be. Then I heard what sounded like bricks falling from the sky- don't worry, it was only baseball size hail!!! Wow! What a freaking scary day!

Thank God for His mighty protection! My car came out perfect, (besides me backing into our gate yesterday and putting a gigantic scratch in my bumper, but that's a story for another day), while those that were unable to seek cover looked like this:

Not one person died in the tornadoes. Maybe God is biased towards Texas... :)

15 Weeks

I'm super behind as I'm currently at 16.5 weeks- darn you work and early bed times!

This is from last week:

I wanted to do a review as well....

~ Rockstar Coconut Water ~

So I only had 2 maybe 3 sips of the NEW Rockstar Coconut Water to avoid Baby BFlo turning into a caffeine addict like BFlo. My thoughts:

Can score= Awesome! It's a really beautiful can.
Concept= Right on for all of the "healthy, yoga" people out there that think coconut water is the most amazing, healthy thing ever!
Flavor= Love Coconut! This is VERY coconutty, but it's also watery.
Overall= Awesome, but a little too coconut watery. I feel like if it could have more of the Rockstar PiNK consistency, that it would be much better.
My name is J "PiNK" Flo and I endorse this message.

Since I know that I will be getting "hate mail" momentarily from my favorite Monster Rep, might as well address this now. LEO- If you can get Monster to sponsor a competing product for our Open House/Gender Reveal Party on Friday, I'll start doing reviews for you rather than your competitor. The Monster tent would look really nice in our backyard for the evening... hint hint (:
