37 Weeks

37 weeks and the countdown begins! This week has been Awesome! Shoboy en la Manana hooked us up with free Enrique/JLo concert tickets. The tickets were in the nose bleed section, so BFlo had a brilliant idea. He asked the box office if there might be some handicapped seats for his pregnant wife. Next thing you know, we got first level, handicapped seating! I will miss these pregnancy perks for sure!

First up- Enrique Iglesias. For those of you who don't know, I have a crush on him. He held a great concert! So great that even BFlo was singing and enjoying himself :) He interacted a lot with the audience, and actually sang for real- no lip syncing.

JLo was next. I really like JLo, however her concert was very dancey and mostly performance. The singing aspect just wasn't there. And her outfits- I couldn't stand them and was embarrassed for her. The nude body suit was so Britney Spears 10 years ago... I wish that she would grow up and realize that she has small children that don't need to be seeing their mom practically naked.

And by the way... We finally got our new MacBook Pro Retina, which is why you can now see pics from our new Canon 7D massive camera. :) Onto our 37 week update photos.

Dress- $8.99 at Ross

Our girlfriend could come any day now... Wow! This is just too real now :)

36 Weeks

Welp- I'm not ready for our girlfriend to come yet... there's so much to do and so little time left!!! Seriously, I have no idea how these last 36wks have gone by so fast! Of course, work is busier than ever, if it's not solving one problem, it's cleaning up another. My house needs a serious clean, organization, shelves need to be hung as well as pictures- Ay Caray! It's just TOO much!!!

I've been hitting up the gym, and man does exercise feel great! It just clears my mind more than anything, and I feel so much better afterwards. But maybe I shouldn't workout so much if I want our girlfriend to wait a lot longer... Decision decisions. She worked out with me last night, and after our workout as well, pretty much the entire night! Can't blame her for working on her fitness, she's gotta look Good when she comes out! :)

Baby 'Bastian & Daddy Bootcamp

From the very first moment that I found out that I was pregnant, Sebastian knew too. He's wanted to lay on my tummy since day one of this pregnancy. Cats know these things. So as the time gets closer and closer, I'm noticing that he knows that it's getting closer. Kind of like how animals know that a natural disaster is about to happen before it does i.e. dogs flatten out on the floor before an earthquake, farm animals start running before a tornado etc.

Me: "Sebastian- are you ready for your baby sister?"
Sebastian: "What??? A baby? I'm the baby!!!"

Sebastian has always slept with BFlo and I, but lately we have been finding that he's gone upstairs into Baby Girlfriend's room and is either sleeping in the bouncer or under the crib. This morning I found him in the baby's bathtub...

I'm pretty sure that he's thinking in his own mind "Wow! Thanks mom and dad for my very own room and bathroom! I love my new space!" :) Poor thing is about to have a rude awakening. But for now- he thinks he loves his baby girlfriend.

On another note, BFlo went to Daddy Bootcamp class at the hospital last night. He said that all of the dads in there were first time dads, and that more than half of them were having girls. Apparently there's an epidemic of girls going around. Highlights that he shared- wipe the girl from the front to the back, be helpful at home and the hospital and I'll burn lots of calories breastfeeding. My favorite part that made me life for 30 minutes... the pictures he texted me:

Hilarious!!!

Our hospital is awesome! All of the classes are free, the cafeteria has a 4 star chef and we get a steak and lobster dinner on our last night- Boo-yeah!

35 Weeks

Work has been stressing me out BiG time lately! I've prayed a lot over the last few weeks and have decided to pray for those that persecute me, and act like a duck by letting stuff roll off my feathers. I'm very thankful for my encouraging family and friends. I'm also amazed at how timely God always is when we go through trials and tribulations. My devotionals have been about praying for your enemies, letting God take vengeance etc. I'm definitely going to leave my problems to the problem solver :)

Week 35! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Closer and closer every day. So this girlfriend inside of me apparently doesn't sleep on the weekends, and I'm serious right now! This whole past weekend she did not stop one time. Me and BFlo will be learning a whole lotta patience in the very near future.

In case you can't tell, BFlo is safety-checking his baby carrier with Sebastian. Our fur babies are professional safety-checkers now- haha! The dress in my pic is from WalMart- $9. I paired it with leggings and these wedges:

Sebastian has also taken up residency in the baby bouncer...

I actually turned it on for him, and he quite enjoyed the experience. So in the case our girlfriend might not like her bouncer, at least we know someone will use it.

I also have 2 little sewing helpers:

Sewing Buddy #1 and #2. I'm pretty sure I know what they're really after... and that would be the string :)

34 Weeks

Time is flying by, and now I'm starting to freak out a little bit. This week I had zero motivation to go to the gym- Crazy, right? And guess what? I haven't gone, and have no plans to. Too many other things to get done- one being Prepared Childbirth class! Yikes! It's from 6-10pm tonight and then 11am-5pm on Saturday. I got an email saying that we needed to bring pillows and blankets??? What did I get myself into?

These pics are not as bright as they usually are. Wondering why? Well, that would be because I clearly have pregnancy amnesia... Yep- I really was confused, and didn't realize that I was a week off until later that night. Awesome.

This week I was determined to teach myself how to sew. I haven't sewn since Home Ec in the 7th grade... and that was a very looooong time ago! So, I did some research and purchased this Brother via Costco.com. My Brother (I like saying that) sat in the entry way for a week unopened because I became very intimidated. And then, I gave myself a due date. This past weekend was the deadline to teach myself how to do something, as in anything. So it was 10:30pm on Sunday night that I brought the machine upstairs and opened up the box. I set it up, watched some youtube videos and then decided to make BFlo a manly burpcloth for his manly diaper bag. I finished the first one at midnight- meaning I met my goal!

I also decided that I needed to create a sewing station for myself. Cutting things on the floor when 8.5months pregnant isn't exactly the brightest idea ever... So this is my station in progress-

Please pass along any sewing tips and tricks if you have them!

32 & 33 Weeks

I think my body just finally realized that I'm pregnant... This week was the first time that my workouts were like really hard! What's even harder is forcing myself to modify. I feel like such a wimp not being able to do everything like I used to :( Actually, I kinda just feel like a grandma that has to modify. Oh well- not too much longer.

32wks was supposed to be size of a large Jicama. However, I've never in my life seen a 4lb, 17in jicama, so I went with a papaya instead :) Plus papayas are prettier... This is my $8.99 Ross dress as seen back in week 25 when I was much smaller.

At 33wks, we went to Kansas City for two amazing and incredible baby showers. They were both amazing, beyond my expectations and just really made us feel blessed. One day I will download all of the pics off of our I-Don't-Wanna-Even-Know-How-Much-It-Cost Canon EOS 7D so I can show everyone the gorgeous baby shower pics. But for now, my iMac is about to die, which I'm just not mentally prepared for, and if I load the camera software, it will most likely put my best buddy into a coma. So I'm going to wait until we get the new, ridiculously expensive MacBook Pro Retina to replace it. It better last 7yrs like my amazing, wonderful, beautifully white 24" iMac has...

Here's just one of the displays of incredible art that my aunt and uncle made, which was inspired by Pinterest of course :)

PS- Due to Pregnancy amnesia, I thought that I had posted this last week, however, I now recall that our electricity went out for over an hour on a 108 degree day and I nearly panicked.
